Description
Premium Control
The Six Zero Ruby Pickleball Paddle is a world first paddle that uses 100% Aramid fiber, sourced from DuPont™ Kevlar® as its face material. The face material has a unique combination of high strength, high modulus, toughness and thermal stability. It has high impact resistance and is durable (abrasion resistant), meaning the paddle surface should last a long time and be more resistant to wear compared to existing carbon faced paddles**. In addition, the cross-weave cloth pattern provides a bump in spin, grip and feel. The way the face grabs the ball really stands out along with the power generated. Six Zero spent over 10 months developing the Ruby paddle. There is a measurable difference between existing face materials and Kevlar® in terms of production workability and the process of imparting a raw textured surface. The Ruby paddle has an eye-catching red cloth matched with white trim highlights. The unibody paddle design builds on the carbon fusion edge thermoform technology developed by Six Zero across its Diamond Series.
High-Tech Production Process
To produce the highest quality and performance paddles our Ruby paddles are manufactured using multi-stage cold and hot mold process technology.
Aerodynamically Engineered Flared Design
The Ruby is designed to optimize reach and aerodynamics. A slightly flared shape improves the sweet spot in the core hitting zone of the paddle.
DuPont™ Kevlar® Textured Surface
A newly developed Premium American DuPont™ Kevlar® textured surface that provides amazing spin, grip and feel on the ball. Multiple interwoven layers add strength, power and controlled pop.
Carbon Fusion Edge Technology
To improve robustness, durability and responsiveness the Six Zero Team have developed Carbon Fusion Edge Technology. Foam injection followed by a light-weight carbon seam fusing the top and bottom faces of the paddle results in a tighter crisp feel and an increased sweet spot that radiates around the paddle perimeter.
Premium Honeycomb Polymer Core
Tried and tested to ensure the ultimate power engine for lasting performance. The 16mm thick core gives the best power to control ratio.
3D Carbon Forged Elongated Handle
To maximize strength and performance Six Zero engineers have designed a 3D carbon forged handle. The carbon face and fusion edge technology extends down the full length of the handle and is forged together under heat and pressure – 3D carbon. The construction is designed to reduce vibration, ensuring comfortable play and a responsive feel. The design allows for optimal flex, improving the paddle neck sweet spot. A tapered neck and a 5.5” elongated handle accommodates for double backhand players. The handle is finished with a premium custom Six Zero perforated leather grip with a 4.125-4.25” circumference – suited to all sized hands.
Perfectly Balanced
Our engineering and quality control team paid particular attention to the importance of a perfectly weighted and balanced paddle. Ergonomics play an important role in player comfort and control.

**Depending on play style, some users may notice our red cloth fibers on the face of the paddle. Please be advised this is normal for 100% Kevlar® texture and does not impact performance or playability of the paddle. This is considered regular wear and tear and will not be covered under our warranty. In a normal carbon faced paddle the face cloth and epoxy will wear roughly together and both slough off as dust. Whilst with a Kevlar® paddle, the tough wear resistant cloth remains and shows as small tufts as the epoxy wears. In addition, we DO NOT recommend using a cleaning rubber on the Ruby as it may pull out small Kevlar® tufts.
